Abstract
An electrical switchgear has a plurality of assembled fields and busbars extending over these fields. The supporting elements of the switchgear (side walls 1, 2, 10, 11) have a locally set back or recessed profile (profile recesses 3, 4, 12, 13), as a result of which a busbar space (18) is formed which is accessible over its entire length. Busbar supports (40) are constructed in the manner of combs and have cut-outs for the full profile of the busbars (43). The arrangement permits the insertion of the busbars into the busbar space without the pushing through, starting at one end of the switchgear, which was previously required. The new arrangement is suitable in the same way for low-voltage switchgears, with the busbar space arranged on the top or on the rear side. <IMAGE>
