Abstract

The installation in a building (1) comprises a collecting duct (10) which is served by a fan (15). Directly connected to the collecting duct (10) are control modules (2), to which there are individually connected via branch pipes (21) in each case a group of ventilating points (22), e.g. those of a building storey (2). In the control module (20), there is for each branch pipe (21) a connection point with sealing member and individually controllable sealing drive. The apparatuses requiring maintenance are thus grouped together in the control modules (20) and are there easily accessible (e.g. from the stairwell). This makes possible simplified plannaing, extensive prefabrication and easy maintenance, and also simple, reliable requirement-dependent control of the overall installation. By making the electrical part a low-voltage weak-current installation, installation is especially simple. Alternative embodiments of the control modules (20) and different control possibilities are described. Ventilating installations for outgoing air and/or incoming air are possible, also in association with heating and ventilation, and ventilation systems. <IMAGE>
