Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for behandling. av en sur, mercaptanholdig hydrocarbon-fraks jon, hvor hydrocarbonfraksjonen. bringes i kontakt, i nærvær av et oxyda-sjonsmiddel, med en basisk opplesning. inneholdende et metallchelat som er. effektivt med hensyn til å oxydere mer-captanene til disulfider. Til den basiske. oppløsning tilsettes en dipolar forbin-delse med strukturformelen (A) eller. (B), nemlig:hvor Z er nitrogen eller fosfor, R er en rettkjedet alkylgruppe med 1-18 car-bonatomer, R. og Ruavhengig av hver-andre er hydrogen eller en hydrocarbongruppe valgt blant alkyl, aryl, alkaryl, aralkyl og cykloalkyl, Rog Ruavhengig er en hydrocarbongruppe valgt blant alkyl, aryl, alkaryl, aralkyl og cykloalkyl, YH er en elektronegativ gruppe valgt blant OH, SH, COOH, S0H og NH, idet den elektronegative gruppe er kjen-netegnet ved at den er i stand til å deprotoneres i en basisk oppløsning,og X er et anion valgt blant halogener oq hvdroxvl. oa:. hvor R, R, Rog Rhar de ovenfor angitte betydninger, og Y er den depro-tonerte form av YH.
