Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for å ta prcver av formåsjons- fluida fra formasjoner som gjennomskjæres av et borehull, hvor et prøve-testkammer bringes i kontakt med et isolert område av borehull-veggen, og blir åpnet for å tillate formasjons-fluida å fylle kammeret, og hvor formasjons-fluida blir filtrert gjennom porøse materialer som omfatter partikler av forut bestemte størrelser. Partiklene er bundet sammen for å danne en stiv porøs del, og har en gjennomsnittlig diameter som er et multippel av diameteren for formasjonens partikler. Filteret omfatter silt grus/sand, innstopt i en varmeherdende harpiks. Alternativt kan filteret omfatte metall sammenbundet med overflatisk smelting eller sveising.
