Abstract
Ved den fremgangsmåte for frema tilling av polyvalent metall, serlig titan, ved katodisk nedbrytning av et halid av vedkommende ne tall i en elektrolytt ev alkallsaetellhalider eller alkalisk JordwetaHhallder. utreres elektrouttrekket av metall ved bruk av en sammensatt elektrode med en anode (2) n og en ramme (3). Denne romme omgir anoden og er utstyrt med anodlsk nedbrytbare metallskillevegger (IS) for a avgrense innenfor rammen et bad av alkalihallder eller alkaliske jordmetallhalider som ikke Inneholder loner av det metall som skal fremstilles.
