Abstract
The apparatus has a feed-water preheating zone and a steam-generating zone and is intended to avoid impermissible stresses by comparatively simple means. This is achieved by the gas-carrying heat-exchanger tubes (5) being fastened in two fixed heads (3, 4) and surrounded in the region of the feed-water preheating zone (VZ) by a jacket (10) at a distance from the inside of the vessel wall (11), the supplying of the boiler feed water taking place into the inner space formed by the jacket.
