Abstract
Kompakt reservebatteri av enkelte celler. som består av en cellekapsling (23, 24, 60) som omslutter en anode og en katode (25,26, 58) og et kvantum av en elektrolytt (27, 28,. 55) som gjør batteriet istand til å levere elektrisk strøm når elektrolytten kommer i kontakt med anoden og katoden. Elektrolytten er skilt fra det område som omfatter anoden og katoden ved en første skillemem-bran (56) som vil briste ved påtrykk av et tilstrekkelig høyt trykk. Cellekapslingen (23, 24, 60) omfatter videre et stempel (29, 30, 54) som befinner seg i kontakt med elektrolytten. Stemplet kan beveges innenfor cellekapslingen og kan overføre tilstrekkelig trykk til elektrolytten til. at skillemembranen (56) brister ved påtrykk av et. utvendig trykk til stemplet.Batterier av celler anordnet på denne måte er ikke underlagt de vanlige elektro-lyttproblemer som kjennes fra teknikkens stand.
