SYSTEM FOR DESIGNING AND REDESIGNING A LAYOUT WITH FURNITURE
IN A THREE-DIMENSIONAL (3D) MODEL
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention disclosed herein generally relates to a system for enabling a user to design and redesign a home or an office or training facilities. More particularly, the present invention relates to a system for enabling a user to design, redesign, and renovate a home or an office or training facilities, for example, a gym by scanning/capturing/tape measure the room or area and furnishes with related products from different companies in a 3D model. The system is further configured to connect customers to nearest professionals, provide a service for transferring furniture, and also provide more features such as online selection, purchasing, and selling of goods/products, for example, furniture from different manufactures through an application or a website using an electronic device, for example, a smartphone, via the Internet or other interactive communications network.
BACKGROUND
Planning and arranging furniture is hard enough and time consuming when a person or family changing or moving into a new home. Arranging furniture could be a daunting task. It becomes even more challenging when a person moving the furniture from an existing home into a new space. It may take a while to get a feel for the new space and figure out how to make the rooms both comfortable and functional. When the person changes or moves into a new home, the furniture may not look right or even fit in the available space. Depending on the new home/office, the person may need furniture that is different in size or style. Further, when the person adds a room or re-designs or renovation the room with different furniture, there might be some need for additional furniture or furniture that addresses a different need depending on the reason for the additional space.
Currently, people visit lots of different furniture stores for purchasing and at end of the day they weren’t sure what to buy and how much it will be. The furniture may not suitable or fit in the room. Further, people choose online shopping or E-commerce for purchasing different kind of products and furniture. E-commerce has exploded in popularity in recent years, as more and more people use computer networks. E-commerce provides a wide range of options and different products are available for the people. People could check different designs, styles, materials, and prices of the products, which make the shopping experience much easier. However, people have to rely on electronic images to purchase products, for example, furniture. Sometimes, the product may not fit and/or suitable in the home.
In addition, there are different applications are available for enabling the people to choose interior items from a comprehensive catalogue to plan and furnish the home the way he/her have always wanted and the user could see what everything will look like in 3D virtual reality. For example, RoomSketcher application provides an online floor plan and home design solution that enable a person to create floor plans, furnish, and decorate them and visualize the design in impressive 3D virtual reality. However, this application does not provide other features like gaming, game room, and more home and office related products from different companies.
Another example, Houzz provides experience for home renovation and design, connecting homeowners and home professionals with the best tools, resources, and vendors. Houzz sells furniture and also connects customers to professionals. However the problem is that their focus is only in USA and Canada. Further, Houzz doesn’t have service for businesses such as training facilities and also not provide a service for transferring furniture from one location to another.
In the light of the above-mentioned problems, there is a need for a system for enabling a user to design, redesign, and renovate a home or an office or training facilities, for example, a gym by scanning/capturing/tape measure the room or area and furnishes with related products from different companies in a 3D model the room or area and furnish with related products from different companies in a 3D model on a website. There is also a need for a system for connecting customers to nearest professionals and also providing more options and products relative to games for a game room. Further, there is also a need for a system for providing more features such as online selection, purchasing, and selling of goods or products, for example, furniture from different manufactures through a mobile application using an electronic device, for example, a smartphone, via the Internet or other interactive communications network.
