Aquakjeks har som formål å fungere som hvilested/skjul for rognkjeks som lever i oppdrettsanlegg. Aquakjeks er plater i plast, eller plastlignende materialer med glatte overflater som gjør det enklest mulig for rognkjeks å benytte sin sugekopp når den har behov for hvile. The purpose of Aquakjeks is to act as a resting place/hideout for roe biscuits that live in breeding facilities. Aquabiscuits are sheets of plastic, or plastic-like materials with smooth surfaces that make it as easy as possible for roe biscuits to use their suction cups when they need to rest.

Platene utformes i standardiserte størrelser eller etter kundens behov og ønsker, og har ingen skarpe kanter som kan utgjøre en trussel for skade på noten den blir plassert i. The plates are designed in standardized sizes or according to the customer's needs and wishes, and have no sharp edges that could pose a threat of damage to the note in which it is placed.

Platene har også ører ved hvert hjørne slik at de kan lenkes sammen med for eksempel tau etter kundens behov. The plates also have ears at each corner so that they can be linked together with, for example, rope according to the customer's needs.
