Abstract
The present invention relates to fish, lobster, crab and other crustacean farms. Aquaculture plants located in the mountains, which the present invention deals with, will be very environmentally friendly as one can easily pick up stools and residues for food that falls to the bottom. Aquaculture plants located in accordance with the present invention will be very environmentally friendly as a low seizure of visible areas in sea and on land. In addition, the areas above the plants can be used for other purposes. It is obvious to see that the present invention provides opportunities to place fish and crustacean farms in areas where such facilities were previously not available.
Description
The invention relates to a way of placing different farming facilities inside mountains, rocks, islets, steep slopes by the sea so that they encroach as little as possible on the sea, shoreline or areas on land, and that they are as little visible as possible in the terrain.
Det er kjent at oppdrettsanlegg i sjø og på land, ofte er til hinder for It is known that aquaculture facilities in the sea and on land are often an obstacle to
In addition, they take up a lot of space and are not environmentally friendly.
Fig. 1 viser div. alternative måter å plassere slike anlegg på. The present invention will take up little space in the free nature, as it is intended that they will be placed below the earth's surface. This will be practical as you can place breeding facilities in steep mountains or slopes that go all the way down to the sea's edge. The closer to the seaside they go, the better. Such a way of placing breeding facilities will be very economical in terms of utilization of the land's area, as areas above the breeding facilities can be used for other purposes. Fig. 1 shows various alternative ways of placing such facilities. Another very important advantage of breeding facilities located as mentioned above is that the facilities are very environmentally friendly, as they can easily capture pollution such as faeces and remains of lining.
The facilities will also be secured so that fish cannot escape from the facilities, and that they will thereby not infect other fish.
Stone mass that is blasted out to make room for the facilities can be used for roads or other purposes. Blocks of stone can be cut out which can be further processed into block stone, facade stone, flooring or wall tiles to name a few examples.
The breeding facilities should be located so that they can use the tide to fill and or empty the facilities. When using pumps for this purpose, it is important that the facilities are placed so that the tide can help to fill and empty the facilities. In order for it to be easier to transport the water in and out of the cages, it is an advantage that the facilities are built so that they lie along the shoreline inside the mountain. Farming facilities located on a headland so that the sea can flow through the cages from both sides of the headland, depending on how the sea alternates between high and low tide. An example of the utilization of areas indicated in the present invention is that you can place breeding facilities under urban areas.
Farming facilities as indicated in the present invention also have houses/roofs over the farming facilities, storage rooms, butchery, cold/freezer stalls, aggregate rooms, ventilation rooms and office premises and more.
When using pumps to fill/empty the facilities, the best way would be to pump out the water so that the water level in the cages is lower than the sea outside. You will thereby have better control over where used water is to be taken, and you will also avoid having pumps to pump the water into the cages.
The cages can have manual or automatic sludge suction, where the sludge is filled
i kummer, tanker eller båter for videre behandling for. eks. til gjødsel. in basins, tanks or boats for further treatment for. e.g. for fertilizer.
Det kan bygges kaianlegg utenfor anleggene for eventuell brønnbåter eller andre båter, (ikke vist på tegning) Dock facilities can be built outside the facilities for any well boats or other boats, (not shown on drawing)
Breeding facilities of different types and shapes can be placed underground as mentioned in the present invention.
It can be tide-based facilities as in patent application no. 20110713,
Foring av fisken i merdene kan foregå automatisk, styrt og overvåket av datamaskiner. or breeding facilities with pumps that fill and empty the facilities, Farming facilities where there are pumps that pump out used water from the cages so that fresh water flows into the cages see fig, 1 pool (14) and pump (13). You can have breeding facilities where you use pumps (12) that pump fresh water into the cages so that used water flows into collecting basins for treatment or it can flow through pipes into deep water see fig. 1 No. (8) and (10). If the breeding facilities are located inside a mountain over which there is a water, not too far away, see fig. 3 - (8) you can have a pipeline down to a room at the breeding facilities with a turbine and generator for the production of electricity, as well as water for the possible production of smolt. Feeding the fish in the cages can be done automatically, controlled and monitored by computers.
The cages are blasted/cut out round with walkways in between, or there can be elongated pools with cages of nuts placed in the pools. Where one has a round pool, there is no need for nuts as cages.
Where a user is digging in the pools, it is an advantage that they do not go all the way down to the bottom. This is so that the sludge suction system can move freely under the cages. Fig. 1 shows a plan sketch of a breeding facility as indicated in the present invention. The breeding facilities can of course be arranged/placed in different ways depending on the conditions.
