Abstract
Systemer og fremgangsmåter genererer en hastighetsmodelI for tid/dybde-konvertering i brønner. I én utførelse optimaliserer et system en tid/dybde-relasjon anvendt på datapunkter fra én enkelt brønn for å estimere koeffisienter til en hastighetsfunksjon som modellerer datapunktene. Systemet optimaliserer ved å redusere innvirkningen av uteligger-datapunkter, for eksempel ved å vekte hvert datapunkt for å redusere innvirkningen fra de langt fra hastighetsfunksjonen. Systemet reduserer også innvirkningen av topp- og bunnhorisonter i geologiske lag ved å anvende datastyrte metoder som estimerer hastighetsfunksjonen uten overdreven avhengighet av randbetingelsene. Systemet kan optimalisere estimering av hastighet-stigningstakt for å la hastighetsfunksjonen gå gjennom et datapunkt på hver topphorisont.
