Abstract

Avdekket er anordninger og fremgangsmåter for tilpasningen av et undersjøisk fartøy, så som et ROV, og i særdeleshet et hydraulisk drevet ROV for konstruksjons- eller vedlikeholdsarbeid. I én utførelse er fartøyet utstyrt med en modul eller moduler som tildanner ytterligere fremdriftsmidler, som har redusert støy ved høy hastighet i sammenlikning med fartøyets hovedfremdriftsmidler. Modulen eller modulene gir likeså valgfritt større ytelse og minsket drag. Et ROV tilpasset på en slik måte er derfor egnet for inspeksjonsarbeid med høy hastighet. I en annen utførelse er et hydraulisk ROV tilpasset for å muliggjøre at det er i stand til direkte å drive elektrisk drevne verktøyer.
