Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår et system for behandling av ballastvann, omfattende innløp og utløp for vann, rørledninger som er koblet til innløpene og utløpene, minst én vannbehandlingsenhet som er koblet til rørledningene, og som er i stand til, under drift, å behandle ballastvann som strømmer gjennom enheten, en filteranordning for ballastvannet og en ventilanordning for å regulere strømningen gjennom rørene, behandlingsenheten og filteranordningen. Systemet kjennetegnes ved en styringsenhet som er anordnet for, og i stand til, å håndtere og regulere alle de forskjellige sekvensene i prosessen under oppstart, ballastering, tømming og rensning, så vel som alle feilfunksjoner og situasjoner, hvorved forurenset vann hindres i å forlate systemet. Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår også en prosess for behandling av ballastvann, en fremgangsmåte for regulering av prosessen og programvare for å utføre fremgangsmåten.
