Abstract
Det offentliggjøres en fremgangsmåte for separering av en flerfase fluidstrøm, omfattende en tyngre fluidkomponent og en lettere fluidkomponent, hvilken fremgangsmåte omfatter å bevirke at fluidet strømmer langs et første helisk strømningsløp (106, 108), idet det første heliske strømningsløp har en første stigning, det første heliske strømningsløp er tilstrekkelig langt til å etablere et stabilisert roterende fluid-strømningsmønster for strømmen, hvilket bevirker at det ensartet roterende fluid strømmer langs et annet helisk strømningsløp (110, 112), idet det annet heliske strømningsløp har en annen stigning, hvor den annen stigning er større enn den første stigning; og uttaking av det lettere fluid fra et radialt indre omfråde av det annet heliske strømningsløp. En anordning for utførelse av fremgangsmåten offentliggjøres også. Fremgangsmåten og anordningen er særlig egnet for separasjon av små oljedråper fra vann, særlig fra vann for reinjeksjon i en underjordisk formasjon som del av en operasjon for produksjon av olje og gass. Fremgangsmåten og anordningen anvendes passende på en modulær basis.
