Abstract
Et system for kontroll av friksjonsnivå og veigrep mellom dekkene til et kjøretøy og et underlag på en veibane omfatter enheter for registrering av parametre som påvirker veigrepet, samt midler for varsling og/eller aksjon når en nedre grenseverdi for veigrepet er nådd. Systemet omfatter midler for måling og registrering av en eller flere verdier for følgende parametre: veibanens beskaffenhet i sanntid, kjøretøyets kjøremodus i form av hastighet og kjøretøyets geografiske plassering i veien. En dataenhet med en beregningsenhet sammenstiller de målte verdiene med en eller flere verdier for veibanens beskaffenhet under optimale forhold opptatt under standardbetingelser og kjøretøyets tekniske beskaffenhet. Når grenseverdien er nådd, gir systemet et varsel til sjåføren om status for veigrepet, og/eller en fartsreduksjon foretas kontrollert og automatisk.
