Fremgangsmåte for å styre et forbruk av kraft eller effekt under en bergboreprosess som bruker en bergboringsanordning, der midler for tilførsel av kraft eller effekt sørger for overføringen til bergboreprosessen, hvilken omfatter flere sub-prosesser. Fremgangsmåten omfatter bestemmelse av en parameterverdi som representerer en totalt tilgjengelig kraft eller effekt for prosessen og styring av en kraft- eller effektfordeling mellom de enkelte sub-prosesser, slik at det totale forbruk i disse ikke kommer til å overskride den totalt tilgjengelige effekt eller kraft.
