Abstract
Det er beskrevet en ultralydvolumstrømmåler med et målerør (1) som et medium kan strømme igjennom, og som i tverrsnitt oppviser to omfangshalvdeler hvor det er anordnet to ultralydomformerpar (2), som hvert er tilordnet en ultralydreflektor (4), idet ultralydomformerne (3) i hvert ultralydomformerpar (2) er anordnet forskjøvet i forhold til hverandre i målerørets lengderetning på en felles omfangshalvdel, mens ultralydreflektoren (4) tilordnet det enkelte ultralydomformerpar er anordnet på den andre omfangshalvdel mellom de to ultralydomformere betraktet i målerørets lengderetning, slik at et ultralydsignal som sendes ut fra en ultralydomformer i et ultralydomformerpar når frem til den andre ultralydomformer i ultralydomformerparet langs en V-formet signalvei (5) via ultralydreflektoren tilordnet ultralydomformerparet. I henhold til oppfinnelsen er det første ultralydomformerpar (2) og den andre ultralydreflektor (4) anordnet på den første omfangshalvdel, mens det andre ultralydomformerpar (2) og den første ultralydreflektor (4) er anordnet på den andre omfangshalvdel. Derved oppnås det en forbedret målenøyaktighet for ultralydvolumstrømmåleren.
