PSCA-genet eller fragment derav eller dets kodede protein eller varianter derav eller et fragment derav, kan anvendes for å fremkalle en humoral eller cellulær immunrespons; antistoffer eller T-celler reaktive med PSCA kan anvendes ved aktiv eller passiv immunisering.SUMMARY Antibodies and molecules derived therefrom that bind to new PSCA protein and variants thereof are described where PSCA exhibits tissue-specific expression in normal adult tissue and is differentially expressed in the cancer form listed in Table I. Accordingly, PSCA provides a diagnostic, prognostic, prophylactic and / or therapeutic target for cancer. The PSCA gene or fragment thereof or its encoded protein or variants thereof or a fragment thereof may be used to elicit a humoral or cellular immune response; antibodies or T cells reactive with PSCA can be used in active or passive immunization.
