Different combinations of materials can be used to produce shapes and braids. In a preferred embodiment, two or more punched, helical forms of a metal foil are locked together or linked together and a wire or fiber is placed at least partially in the middle of one of the helical forms. This structure provides beneficial properties used in fuel tanks and resists deformation. Additionally, some types of structures can be designed and used so that they can be easily removed from the container or tank.
