Abstract

Apparat for fjernstyrt drift av fluidpumping i arbeidsrom, særlig egnet for rengjøring av innelukkede rom i tanker, slik som tanker ombord i fartøy. Apparatet omfatter en eller flere arminnretninger, som hver er dannet av to eller flere armseksjoner, idet arminnretningen er montert inne i en tank. Hydrauliske rotasjonsstyringsenheter anordnet mellom armseksjonene kan rotere opp til 360 grader rundt i forhold til hverandre. En dyse er anordnet på et par med hydrauliske rotasjonsstyringsenheter nær enden på arminnretningen fjernt fra holderen, idet en slange tilfører fluider fra en tilførselspumpe til dysen. Fluider og faststoff fra rengjøringsoperasjonen kan pumpes fra området som rengjøres via en utløpspumpe til en tank om bord i et annet fartøy, slik som en avfallslekter. Et videokamera er montert for å tillate en operatør på et annet sted å overvåke rengjøringsprosessen og området som rengjøres. Et kontrollpanel er fortrinnsvis lokalisert fjernt fra tanken, idet en operatør fullt ut kan styre innretningen ved hjelp av videokameraet, inklusive fluidstrømmen, arminnretningens posisjon og retningen på fluidstrømmen ut av dysen.
