Abstract
En fremgangsmåte og et system for fjerning av kontaminanter fra en naturgasstrøm, hvilken fremgangsmåte omfatter trinn for: (a) kontaktbehandling av en del av naturgasstrømmen som en første gasstrøm ved en forhøyet temperatur med et første adsorbentsjikt i regenereringsmodus, for å fjerne kontaminanter som er til stede på det første adsorbentsjikt, og for å fremskaffe en annen gasstrøm som er anriket på kontaminanter sammenlignet med den første gasstrøm, (b) utsetting av den annen gasstrøm for et gass/væskeseparasjonstrinn og omfattende avkjøling av den annen gasstrøm til en temperatur som er slik at i det minste noen kontaminanter begynner å kondensere til en første væskefase som er rik på kontaminanter, og separering av den første væskefase fra den annen gasstrøm for å danne en tredje gasstrøm, hvor gass/væskeseparasjonstrinnet danner et første gass/væskeseparasjonstrinn, og hvor fremgangsmåten videre omfatter (c) utsetting av den tredje gasstrøm for et annet gass/væskeseparasjonstrinn for å fremskaffe en annen væskefase som er rik på kontaminanter, og en magergasstrøm.A method and system for removing contaminants from a natural gas stream, comprising the steps of: (a) contact treating a portion of the natural gas stream as a first gas stream at an elevated temperature with a first adsorbent layer in regeneration mode, to remove contaminants present in present on the first adsorbent bed, and to provide a second gas stream enriched in contaminants compared to the first gas stream, (b) subjecting the second gas stream to a gas / liquid separation step and comprising cooling the second gas stream to a temperature such that at least some contaminants begin to condense into a first liquid phase rich in contaminants, and separating the first liquid phase from the second gas stream to form a third gas stream, wherein the gas / liquid separation stage forms a first gas / liquid separation step, and wherein the process further (c) comprises exposing the third gas stream to another gas / liquid separation step to provide another liquid phase rich in contaminants, and a lean gas stream.
