Abstract

Bruk av en kompresjonsekspanderbar plugg for tilveiebringelse av lateral ekspansjon av en elastomer pakning for avtetning rundt minirør i en optisk fiberkanal. Minirørene inneholder optiske fibere. Kompresjonsekspanderbar plugg for slik bruk innbefattende en elastomer pakning med langsgående passasjer som under bruk kan plasseres rundt minirør i en optisk fiberkanal, hvilke minirør inneholder optiske fibere og midler for langsgående komprimering av pakningen for derved å oppnå en lateral ekspandering av den for utøvelse av tetningstrykk rundt minirørene og mellom minirørene og kanalen, fortrinnsvis med midler for begrensning av den langsgående kompresjonen som pakningen kan utsettes for for derved å begrense tetningstrykket til nivåer under de hvor det er fare for at de optiske fibrene kan beskadiges. Det beskrives også en tetningsinnretning for disse og andre formål, hvor kompresjonsdeformerbare tetningselementer er plassert i innbyrdes avstander i lateral retning og et første av tetningselementene er anordnet mellom kompresjonsplagene langs en lateral periferi av platene for derved å tilveiebringe en tetningskontakt med en indre overflate i en hul gjenstand så som en kanal eller et hus og andre tetningselementer for tetningskontakt med avlange gjenstander, for eksempel mikrokanaler, kabler eller rør, som strekker seg gjennom den hule gjenstanden.
