Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse omhandler en katalytisk prosess for å redusere nitrogenoksider i avgasser, i hvilken prosess en reduksjonsmiddelholdig sammensetning blandes med avgassen og den oppnådde blandingen bringes i kontakt med katalysatoren. Ifølge oppfinnelsen, inneholder sammensetningen f.eks. 1 til 60 vekt-% ammoniumformat. Spesielt kan et lavt frysepunkt oppnås med slik vannholdig sammensetning.I tillegg blir en god reduksjonsomsetning oppnådd selv ved lave temperaturer.
