Abstract

Det er tilveiebrakt en fremgangsmåte for behandling av seismiske kurver for å tilveiebringe et forbedret signal/støy-forhold for seismiske data. Det oppnås en seismisk oppmåling av kurver som er blitt innsamlet over et arealområde som inneholder et gitter av knute-punkter. En rullende supersamlingsåpning benyttes for å utvelge et underområde som inneholder en arbeidsdelmengde av kurver. En modelldelmengde av kurver utvelges fra nær sentrum av arbeidsunderområdet. Modelldelmengden av kurver sammensettes for å danne en modellkurve. En modifisert delmengde av kurver frembringes ved å sammenlikne de individuelle kurver med modellkurven ved benyttelse av en justeringsteknikk som fortririnsvis er en tidsvarierende trimstatikkteknikk. Disse modifiserte delmengder av kurver kan deretter sammensettes til et redusert sett av forbedrede seismiske kurver med forbedret signal/støy-forhold i forhold til de opprinnelige seismiske kurver. Den rullende supersamlingsåpning beveges deretter inkrementalt inntil kurver fra hele arealområdet er valgt og forbedrede delmengder av seismiske kurver er blitt sammenstilt til et sett av seismiske data med forbedret signal/støy-forhold.
