Fremgangsmåte for å eliminere virkningene av mottagerkobling fra seismiske data irmsamlet under en undersøkelse, ved å beskrive et første kryss- utjevningsfilter som en fiinksjon av etterklangsperioden, å beskrive et annet kryssutjevningsfilter som en fiinksjon av de seismiske data, å beskrive et inverst koblingsfilter som en fimksjon av det første kryssutjevningsfilter og det annet kryssutjevningsfilter, og å anvende koblingsfilteret på de seismiske data.
