Abstract

Det er tilveiebrakt et system for offshore lossing og regassifisering av LNG fra LNG-tankskip (1), hvilket system er tilknyttet et mottakssystem for naturgass og innbefatter et antall fortøynings- og lossesystemer (5) og et antall regassifiseringsfartøy (2), til hvilket fortøynings- og lossesystem (5) et LNG-tankskip (1) fortøyes og et regassifieringsfartøy (2) tilkobles LNG-tankskipet (1) for lossing av regassifisert LNG over i mottakssystemet, idet LNG losses fra LNG-tankskipet (1) og regassifiseres via regassifiseringsfartøyet (2). Det er også tilveiebrakt en fremgangsmåte for offshore lossing og regassifisering av LNG fra LNG-tankskip (1) for tilførsel til et mottakssystem for naturgass, innbefattende trinnene å: * tilveiebringe et antall fortøynings- og lossesystemer (5) og et antall regassifiseringsfartøy (2); * tilkoble et regassifiseringsfartøy (2) til LNG-tankskipet (1); * fortøye LNG-tankskipet (1) til fortøynings- og lossesystemet (5); * tilkoble regassifiseringsfartøyet (2) til fortøynings- og lossesystemet (5); * losse LNG over i regassifiseringsfartøyet (2) fra LNG-tankskipet (1); * regassifisere LNG i regassifiseringsfartøyet (2); og * losse regassifisert LNG over i mottakssystemet fra regassifiseringsfartøyet (2). Systemet og fremgangsmåten muliggjør bruk av standard LNG-tankskip uten ombygging. (Fig. 1)There is provided a system for offshore unloading and regasification of LNG from LNG tankers (1), which is associated with a natural gas reception system and includes a number of mooring and unloading systems (5) and a number of regasification vessels (2), to which mooring - and unloading system (5) an LNG tanker (1) is moored and a regasification vessel (2) is connected to the LNG tanker (1) for unloading regasified LNG into the receiving system, LNG being unloaded from the LNG tanker (1) and regasified via regasification vessel (2). There is also provided a method for offshore unloading and regasification of LNG from LNG tankers (1) for supply to a natural gas reception system, including the steps of: * providing a number of mooring and unloading systems (5) and a number of reclassification vessels (2) ; * connect a regasification vessel (2) to the LNG tanker (1); * moor the LNG tanker (1) to the mooring and unloading system (5); * connect the regasification vessel (2) to the mooring and unloading system (5); * unload LNG into the regasification vessel (2) from the LNG tanker (1); * regasify LNG in the regasification vessel (2); and * unload regassified LNG into the receiving system from the regasification vessel (2). The system and method allow the use of standard LNG tankers without rebuilding. (Fig. 1)
