Abstract

Produksjonslfuidblanding fra en brønn blir dirigert gjennom en sandfjemingsenhet (12) inn i en uthentbar modul (1) installert i et modulært sjø-bunnsprosesseringssystem, og enheten (12) samler sand fra blandingen. Produksjonsfluidblandingen entrer så et fluidseparasjonskammer (17) i modulen (1) hvor det blir separert til en gass og en blanding av av olje og vann. Sjøvann blir trukket inn fra utenfor modulen og pumpet inn i sandfjerningsenheten (12) for skylle den oppsamlede sand. Det blandede skylte sand og sjøvann blir sammenblandet med blandingen av olje og vann nedstrøms fluidseparasjonskammeret (17), og blandingen blir transportert til en vertsfasilitet. Der blir sanden separert fra den sammenblandede blanding og fjernet.
