Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en skallmetallkatalysator eller en forløper for en skallmetallkatalysator, idet fremgangsmåten omfatter de trinn at (1) en oppslemming som omfatter et fortynningsmiddel, et katalytisk omfatter et fortynning aktivt metall eller en forløperforbindelse for dette, og eventuelt et ildfast oksid, heretter betegnet som "første ildfaste oksid", av et element som har et atomtall av minst 20 eller en forløper for det første ildfaste oksid, påføres på overflaten av partikler av en kjernebærer under dannelse av et fuktig belegg, og (2) i de, minste en del av fortynningsmidlet fjernes fra det fuktige belegg, hvori oppslemmningen omfatter minst 5 vekr% av det katalytisk aktive metall eller forløperforbindelsen for dette, beregnet på vekten av metallet i forhold til vekten av kalsineringsrest som kan dannes fra oppslemmingen ved tørking av oppslemmingen og kalsinering; en skallmetallkatalysator eller en forløper for en skallmetallkatalysator som kan oppnås ved hjelp av den nevnte fremgangsmåte, anvendelsen av den nevnte skallmetallkatalysator som krevd i en kjemisk omvandlingsprosess-, og en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av hydrokarboner, hvilken fremgangsmåte omfatter at en blanding av karbonmonoksid og hydrogen kontaktes med den nevnte skalmetallkatalysator, hvori det katalytisk aktive metall er et metall fra gruppe Vin som er til stede i det minste delvis i metallisk form.
