Abstract

The invention relates to a device for processing agricultural products, in particular, fodder maize, with a squeeze mould and packing unit, which is characterised by a particularly good compression of the fodder maize, a stable cladding and a cubic moulding of the compressed material (7). A storage of the fodder maize which is space- and cost-saving is thus possible, which also maintains the compressed form, even after a partial opening of the cladding and protects the fodder maize from fermentation. The above is achieved by means of a cross-winding of two plastic claddings (10) and (20) around the compressed material (7), which occurs in two steps in two different directions. The plastic cover is thus not released when cut in one direction, as only the outer layer of the cross-winding is released, whilst the inner layer remains.
