Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår ulike instrumenter hvor tonehøyden kan endres trinnvis, spesielt tilpasset et nytt stemmesystem for de frembrakte frekvensene. Tonevalgs-anordningen arrangeres i et bestemt sett med intervallspesifikasjoner når de skal sammenliknes med tonevalgsanordninger for et kjent instrument tilpasset å lyde de vanlige frekvensene i et like- temperert tolvtonesystem. For å generere tokamrete toner utnytter det foretrukne stemmesystemet to ulike serier med den pytagoreanske rene kvinten delt opp med et kjent referanseintervall. Sammenliknet med det kjente tolvtone- systemet dreier dette stemmesystemet seg primært om å forbedre den sure duren og moll-tersen og å perfeksjonere de litt for lave rene kvintene. Hovedsakelig er det brukt færre toner per oktav enn antallet som kreves ved standard nøyaktig intonasjon. Ulike modifikasjoner av kjente instrumenter er beskrevet, likesom et nytt enharmonisk flertonet klaver.
