Abstract
Væsker som utelukkende består av anioner og kationer ("ioniske væsker") beskrives som-nye komponenter i fluider (og teknikker som bygger på disse flui- dene) for stimulering av hydrokarbonbrønner. Spesielt er de beskrevne fluidene anvendbare for matriks-syrebehandling. Dannelse av de ioniske væskene ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse er i høy grad eksoterm, og den genererte varmen kan for eksempel anvendes for å smelte awannet borefluid i nærheten av brønnborings- området av formasjonen. Videre resulterer reaksjon av de ioniske væskene med vann i syregenerering; denne syren kan anvendes f.eks. for å stimulere formasjo- nen, enten ved konvensjonell matriks-syrebehandling eller fraktueringssyrebe- handling. Enkelte foretrukne arter av de ioniske væskene i henhold til foreliggende oppfinnelse er dessuten svært stabile løsemidler, og følgelig kan de anvendes som bærerfluider for svært reaktive supersyrer (f.eks. SbF5 + HF) i forbindelse med matriks-syrebehandling.
