Abstract

Fremgangsmåte, et system og en masterterminal for linjeovervåkning i et system innbefattende a telefon nettverk (ISDN), en masterterminal (MASTER), som er forbundet med et mottagelsessted (PR) for et svar og med telefonnettverket (ISDN) ; og en slavetenninal (SLAVE), som er forbundet med et objekt som skal bli overvåket (OM) og med telefonnetverket (ISDN). Ved fremgangsmåten startes oppsettingen av et styreanrop fra master terminalen (MASTER) til slaveterminalen (SLAVE), styreanropet med opprinnelse fra masterterminalen (MASTER)identifiseres ved hjelp av slaveterminalen (SLAVE) på basis av en på forhånd bestemt ringesignalprosedyre før besvarelsen av anropet, oppsetting av anropprosedyren avslutes, starting av oppsettingen av et kvitteringsanrop fra slaveterminalen (SLAVE) til masterterminalen (MASTER) når det har forløpet en egnet tid etter styreanropet; identifisering ved hjelp av masterterminalen (MASTER) kvitteringsanropet med opprinnelse fra slaveterminalen (SLAVE) på basis av en på forhånd bestemt ringeprosedyre før besvaring av anropet; og avslutning av oppsetting av anropprosedyren. Oppfinnelsen er anvendt ved teknisk overvåkning av en linje mellom to punkter for eksempel ved et alarm og overvåkningssystem.
