Abstract

System og fremgangsmåte for identitetsverifisering. En første part kan verifisere sin identitet overfor en andre part ved at den første part ved hjelp av en datamaskin (100) via en elektronisk forbindelse registrerer seg hos den andre part (200), og at der den andre part i sin database (202) registrerer den første parts telefonnummer. Når den første part på et senere tidspunkt kobler seg til den andre parts nettsted, identifiserer den første part seg ved å oppgi sitt telefonnummer via den elektroniske forbindelsen. Prosessoren (201) verifiserer at oppgitt telefonnummer stemmer med registrert telefonnummer i databasen (202), hvorpå prosessoren sender et datamaskingenerert, unikt passord til den først parts telefon (101, 102). Den første part taster inn passordet på datamaskinen (100), hvorpå dette sendes til den andre parts prosessor (201) der passordet verifiseres mot den nylig avsendte meldingen over telenettet. Dersom den første parts identitet med dette er verifisert, partene oppretter kontakt for utveksling av informasjon over den elektronisk forbindelsen. Da det genereres et nytt passord før hver transaksjon og passordformidlingen skjer over to separate nett, er dette en svært sikker, rask og enkel måte å verifisere brukeridentitet via en elektronisk forbindelse.
