Abstract

En hensikt med den foreliggende oppfinnelse er å forbedre varmbearbeiding av messing som er representativ for et metallisk materiale. Messing ifølge den foreliggende oppfinnelse inneholder en mikrostruktur med første, andre og tredje krystaller som har forskjellig hardhet, slik at, sammenlignet med en tofasemikrostrukrur, en mengde av en grenseflate mellom de forskjellige faser øker slik at det skjer en virksom glidning ved grenseflaten mellom forskjellige faser, hvorved deformasjonen ikke blir lokal, men fordeles, hvilket resulterer i at en stor deformasjonsenergi tilføres til en energikilde for rekrystallisering, og at det kan oppnås høy duktivitet.
