Description
Detektoranordning for påvisning av luftinnholdet i vanndamp i et dampbehandlingskammer.
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en detektoranordning for dampbehandlingskammere,
som f.eks. autoklaver, hvor behandlings-gods utsettes for virkningen av til kammeret tilført vanndamp, vanligvis i hensikts-messige trykktrinn for fjernelse av luft fra og inntrenging av damp i godset for dettes behandling eller sterilisering.
Ved slike dampbehandlingskammere er
det ofte av avgjørende betydning for prosessen å kunne fastslå luftinnblandingen i dampen i kammeret ved prosessens begyn-nelse, da luftmengden kan ha innvirkning på temperaturen og dampens inntreng-ningshastighet i behandlingsgodset. Ved behandlingskammere hvor luften evakueres ved trykk lavere enn atmosfæretrykket kan lekkasjer i pakninger, ventiler, rør o.l. for-årsake at det kommer ukontrollerte luft-mengder inn i kammeret. Særlig ved auto-matiserte prosesser kan dette føre til stor skade, med ubrukbart gods som følge.
Oppfinnelsen tar sikte på å tilveiebrin-ge en luftdetektor, som kan brukes til å varsle, eventuelt stoppe eller forlenge dampbehandlingsprosessen, om luftmengden i kammeret er større enn tillatelig.
På den vedføyede tegning vises rent skjematisk et eksempel på en detektoranordning ifølge oppfinnelsen.
Detektoren kan forbindes med dampbehandlingskammeret i eller dettes utløps-rør 2, f.eks. som vist ved 3 eller 4. Detektoren omfatter følgende hoveddeler: et målekammer 7, en ventil 5 for prøver, en ventil 6 for indikeringsvann, en ventil 9 for eventuell gjennomblåsing med damp, et nivå- eller trykk-kontrollapparat 10, og en eventuell kjølekappe 8 (eller annet kjent kjølesystem). Gjennom ventilen 11 tilføres damp til behandlingskammeret 1 og gjennom ventilen 12 skjer utløp eller av-sugning fra dette. Hele, eller øverste del av kammer 7 kan utføres av gjennomsiktig stoff, slik at visuell kontroll kan foretas.
Detektoren virker efter følgende prin-sipp: Under forberedelsesprosessen, mens dampbehandlingskammeret 1 evakueres for luft, står ventil 5 åpen. Om ønskes kan man under denne prosessen også åpne ventil 9 og blåse damp gjennom detektorens målekammer 7 for å sikre fjernelse av luft fra dette. Ventil 9 må stenges før trykk-stigningen efter siste lavtrykksperiode i dampbehandlingskammeret påbegynnes. Ventilen 5 holdes åpen inntil trykket i kammeret 1 og detektorens målekammer 7 er blitt så høyt at luft utenfra ikke kan lekke inn, eller til et fastsatt høyere trykk. Når nå ventilen 5 er stengt, og innholdet i målekammeret 7 blir avkjølet ved hjelp av f.eks. kjøleanordningen 8, kondenseres
dampen i dette, og ventil 6 kan åpnes,
hvorved indikeringsvann suges eller tryk-kes inn i kammer 7 gjennom denne ventil.
Eventuell luft vil nå fylle rommet over væsken i målekammeret 7. Luftmengden kan så registreres eller måles på to måter.
1. Indikeringsvæsken står under et be-stemt trykk, væskenivået i målekammeret 7 vil være avhengig av luftmengden (som da har tilsvarende trykk) og kan avleses visuelt, eller registreres ved nivåkontroll 10 av en eller annen kjent type, som videre eventuelt kan avbryte eller regulere prosessen i behandlingskammeret. 2. Indikatorvæsken fylles opp til et be-stemt nivå i målekammer 7, og der-med vil trykket over væsken i dette kammer gi uttrykk for luftmengden i den uttatte prøve. Instrumentet 10 må i dette tilfelle være av trykkregistrer-ende type, som eventuelt kan avbryte eller regulere prosessen i behandlingskammeret.
Det som gir den store sikkerhet ved den beskrevne detektor er at den tar en adekvat prøve under den kritiske fase i prosessen og omgående gir resultat av prøven.
Claims (2)
1. Detektoranordning for påvisning av luftinnholdet i vanndamp i et dampbehandlingskammer i hvilket behandlings-gods utsettes for trinnvis påvirkning av vanndamp, karakterisert ved at den omfatter et målekammer (7) der i nedre ende over en ventil (5) kan forbindes med dampbehandlingskommeret (1) samt har en ventilforsynt (6) forbindelse for innføring av indikeringsvann og i den øvre ende har en ventil (9) for gjennomblåsing av målekammeret (7) med damp, hvilket målekammer (7) videre er forsynt med et nivå- eller trykk-kontrollapparat (10).
2. Detektoranordning som angitt i på-stand 1, karakterisert ved at målekammeret (7) er utstyrt med kondensa-tor (8) utført som kappe eller kjølerør.
