Abstract

The reflector assembly has a symmetrical tray-shaped primary reflector with two secondary V-shaped reflectors running alongside and just below the fluorescent tube. In cross-section, the inverted tray has lips at the edges and inward-sloping flat sides. The base starts with short flat sections at right angles to the sides. The centre of the base consists of two concave sections which meet at a point above the centre of the tube. The V-shap-d secondary reflectors have concave inner legs and flat outer legs. In addition to the sideways spreading beams from the concave sections the cross over beams from the flat sides and the small cross-over beams from the concave faces of the secondary reflectors there are secondary sideways spreading beams from the flat faces of the secondary reflectors.
