Abstract

The barbecue unit includes a pot shaped charcoal container, and a hand driven air pump, supplying air to an air distribution box, from where air flows upwards through charcoal layers. The rotary air pump (1) is hand operated, and connected by pipe (7) to air distributor box (2). Above the box is a perforated plate (3) on which the charcoal bed is placed. Pot (4) is integral with the air distributor box. Above the pot is an adjustable grille or rack (6).
