Abstract

The clip comprises a baseplate (2), a pref. curved upper plate (10 and a connecting plate (3) joining these two together and acting as the hinge. The entire component is in one piece of hard vinyl chloride and can be extruded. The nose zone (11) of the upper, clamping plate (1) and also a central zone (31) of the connecting plate (3) optionally also the lip of the lower plate (2), are of a soft plastics material, pref. soft vinyl chloride. This arrangement provides high gripping facility without the need for ribbed or fluted surfaces.
