Abstract

The holder is for transporting a cut flower. It consists of a longitudinal container of which one end wall can be pierced by inserting the flower stem. The container is integral with this top end wall and made in one material, preferably plastic such as polypropylene. This end wall is pref. thinner than the remaining parts of the container and may already have an opening which may be star-shaped. It may have a second opening of much smaller diameter to serve as vent. This end wall may be formed by the lid of the container and may be connected by a film hinge.
