Abstract

The computer controlled electro-photographic reproduction machine uses a divided micro-processor control circuit. Certain tasks in the system are designated to a main micro-processor and others to the sub-micro-processor. There are a number of processing stations and a document exposure station with a recirculating document handling system. It consists of a transport element for the original from the exposure station. The speed is regulated by a drive with servo control. The latter includes a tachometer which develops an analogue signal representative of the working speed of the document transport device.
