Abstract

The system is for the construction of a housing estate comprising a number of separate dwelling units joined together by structural components. A sloping supporting structure (2, 4-8, 10) is erected on an originally flat surface, and separate dwelling units are mounted on opposite sides of it (10). Earth (11) is then placed on the units. The earth can be obtained by excavating a pond or small lake (12) near the estate. The supporting structure can comprise a lift shaft, to which the dwelling units are connected. It can be in the form of an A-frame, the earth laid over a lower unit forming the garden of the one above.
