Abstract

Arthropodicidal and nematocidal compsns. contain P-contg (thio)urea derivs. of formula R1R2N-CX-NR3POR4R5 (I) or their metal salts or complexes. In the formula, R1 is H, 1-12C alkyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl, or opt. substd. =11 C aralkyl, 6-14C aryl, pyridyl, pyridylmethyl, pyridylethyl or pyrazinyl, and R2 is H, 1-10C alkyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl, 2-10C alkoxyalkyl, 2-10C alkylthioalkyl, 1-6C cyanoalkyl, 3-6C alkenyl or opt. substd. =11C aralkyl or 6-10C aryl, or NR1R2 can be morpholino or piperidino opt. mono- or disubstd. by 1-4C alkyl. R3 is H, 3-8C cycloalkyl or opt. substd. =11C aralkyl or 6-10C aryl. R4 is 1-6C alkoxy, 1-6C alkylthio or di(-1-6C alkyl)amino, and R5 is 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkylthio-or 1-6C alkylamino, provided that R4 is not alkoxy and R5 is not alkyl when R1 is H and R2 is opt. substd. aryl. X is O or S. The compsns. are esp. useful as agricultural insecticides, acaricides and nematocides. A typical cpd. (I) is N-cyclohexylaminocarbonyl O-ethyl S-(1-methylpropyl)phosphoramidothioate. In an example, this was prepd. from cyclohexylamine and O-ethyl S-(1-methylpropyl)phosphorisocyanatothioate.
