Abstract

Frame assembly is partic. for use as a front frame of a double-glazed window or door. It has angle-section strips (4) of hard plastic in which the glass (7) fits, and with sealing edges (5) of soft plastic pressed against the window-frame edge. At the hinging edge there is a strip (2), also of hard plastic, for fixing to the window-frame (3), and joined to the angle-section strip (4) by a strip (6) of soft plastic, acting as a hinge. The hard plastic section with the hinge strip is joined to a second hard plastic section carrying the sealing edge (5) by a snap-tube coupling (10).
