Abstract

A yarn drawing device of the type which winds on yarn from a stationary supply a number of times round a pair of rollers for delivery, possibly as a reserve loop for weft insertion, has at least one of its rollers driven and each coil of yarn encloses the two rollers together. Both rollers are free to rotate and have a smooth outer circumference. Their axes intersect each other at an angle of the order of a few degrees. They have the same dia. and are turned by a common driving disc. Smooth surfaces on both rollers prevent fouling by fly, etc.
