Abstract

The arrangement is for filling bags, boxes etc, with a bulk material up to a certain weight. It comprises a vertically movable horizontal platform (7) for the bags (9), which platform is held in its uppermost position by a spring (13). In this position a stop (17) on the platform holds a spring-loaded swivel arm (19) which, in turn, acts as a stop for a spring-loaded push rod. The arrangement is such that, when the platform is loaded and moves down, the swivel arm is released which in turn releases the push rod, thereby actuating the flap (51) to close the supply chute.
