Abstract

The material is delivered by a variable-speed conveyor belt, the mechanism being particularly for mixing the ingredients of concrete, having a unit at a set height above the feed end of the conveyor discharging the material onto it. The unit is divided into two or more sections (16, 17), both discharging above the belt. The discharge height of one or more of them above the belt is adjustable, typically by means of a shutter (19). The design allows both fine and coarse sand to be used for the mix, without the installation of an extra conveyor.
