Abstract

The buoy comprises a floating body which can be anchored and is provided with means which are pivotable about a vertical axis and hold a mooring connection between buoy and slip. The buoy is further provided with a pipeline running upwards and carrying a rotatable coupling to receive a floating hose whose end has a rapid coupling capable of being coupled to a corresponding coupling on a slip. The mooring connection consists, at least in part, of the flexible hose, which is reinforced for this purpose. At the buoy end, the hose may hang down in a loop which is bridged by a cable between hose and buoy.
