Abstract

A cord-grip system for an electrical plug or other unit connected by a flexible lead, for relieving tension in the flex, in the form of a pair of cam-shaped grips held by elastic arms exerting a spring pressure on the cord. Elastic arms are integral with the support frame which is made of polypropylene and is a snap fit in the housing. Cam surfaces may have a saw tooth configuration.
