Abstract

Flexographic printing ink is prepd. by mixing (I) 10-50% wt. pigment, (II) 30-70% wt. solvent (III) 15-35% wt. polyamide resin, and (IV) 0.2-5% wt. alcohol soluble wax with a m.p. of 80-120 degrees C. The printing ink has improved slip and anti-block properties, so that printed sheets do not adhere to each other. The ink is esp. useful for printing polymer films, e.g. of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinylidene chloride or viscose.
