Abstract

The fabric (partic. curtain material) is led onto the perforated fixing drum which contains heating elements radiating outwards working in conjunction with external reflectors, or has an axial steam or hot air inlet. Two flexible continuous chain conveyor belts rotate on the setting drum which carry clamps or entrainment devices, in particular two chains moving 3-dimensionally, which at a certain distance from the axis of the drum rotate on a return roller. The distance between the conveyors is considerably less near the return roller than near the heat setting drum.
